The Southern Hemisphere Fruit Alliance offers a platform where all actors with an interest in the fresh fruit industry in the Southern Hemisphere can connect and work together to achieve common goals and ensure the collective and individual success of businesses involved in the industry.
For over 30 years now, SFA (previously SHAFFE) has offered a channel for players in the Southern Hemisphere’s fruit industry to face challenges and exploit opportunities together. Members are updated and work together on defining topics for the industry such as sustainability, food safety and market access in an ever-changing trade environment.

Full members
Regional, national or international associations representing the fresh fruit industry in a country in the Southern Hemisphere

* The membership fee is set at EUR 5 100 for each country with at least one regular Member. For countries with more than one regular Member, those Members shall decide among themselves how to divide the payment of the annual Membership fee.
Supporting members
All other associations and organizations, as well as for-profit companies with an interest in the fresh produce industry, located in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere

Members who are admitted to the Association after 30 June pay half of the annual membership fee for that year.
